Festival Canvas works without an account. If you save events to a personal plan, that plan stays on your phone.
The short version.
You can browse festival information and save events without providing your name, email address or phone number. Festival Canvas does not use advertising or cross-app tracking.
DibsMc Media operates Festival Canvas in the United Kingdom and is responsible for the processing described on this page.
Keeping the service running
Routine technical information
Like most online services, the providers that help us deliver app content may receive routine technical information about a connection when the app is used.
No profiling
No automated decisions
Festival Canvas does not use this information for advertising, profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
How technical information is used.
We use routine technical information to make the app available, keep it reliable and secure, and help investigate faults. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service.
We may use service providers to help run Festival Canvas. Some processing may take place outside the United Kingdom, with appropriate safeguards where required.
We keep technical information only for as long as needed to run, secure and improve the service.
Your choices and rights.
You can remove your personal plan from your device by removing Festival Canvas. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal data handled by DibsMc Media.
Your right to object: where processing relies on legitimate interests, you can object by contacting DibsMc Media. The request will be considered against the circumstances and applicable law.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. DibsMc Media would appreciate the opportunity to investigate your concern first.
Children and changes.
The app does not knowingly ask children for personal information.
We will update this policy if the way Festival Canvas handles personal information changes. The effective date at the top will change when it does.
