The name
A childhood memory that never left him.
One of Dibs’s earliest memories is his granny teaching him this saying when he was a toddler: “Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning.” She could always sense rain before it arrived, and because his granddad was a shepherd, it has always stuck with him.
That family connection gives Shepherd’s Sky its name—and places weather, landscape and lived experience at the heart of the app.
